I decided to reinstall VLC.

Freaking perfect. The Da Vinci Code and Oblivion trailers went from stuttering to buttery smooth.

So this is for those of you who can't run 720p or 1080p (I've only tried 720p because of my monitor) on WMP10 properly...

Drop a note if it works for you!

Another thing you might want to check. I noticed on my 754 board with a 3200+ I would go from great to horrible as soon as I would upgrade Nvidia drivers. I narrowed it down to using Nvidias software IDE driver or not. If I did not use it got great playback, if I did use it choppy horrible playback and this was with Nvidia and Ati cards. This was only tried a couple times so not saying its the case and this was only with 754 boards as I use the Software SATA driver for my new 939 board and no problems.

So just another headsup to go with the one above.

Bump for the night.

I remember seeing like three topics on the weekend, so this is in case those people decided to take a look.

Another note, I always have to reinstall nvidia decoder software for pure video every time I install new updated drivers. Or else I have playback issues. (skips, freezing, etc)
