note taking on palmone and pocketPC

could anyone who has experience with either the palmone or the pocketpc tell me what kind of features the text and note writing has? I really want something like on the tablet pcs where you can write and draw pictures all in one place. kind of like regular writing. Do they have anything like that for the pda handheld? If so tell me what its like to use.

I used to have a palm, but it was so long ago that I don't remember lol.

PocketPC has a built in Notes application, nothing fancy... it's basic and it works. you can write, enter text, and draw all in one place. It even has a "OCR" like recognize function that will convert your handwritten ink to text.

My suggestion is to go to your nearest circuit city, best buy, etc. and just try it out.

The "notes" program on pocket pc isn't great for doing much at all besides a really quick number or something.
If you have a keyboard, you can take notes on word pretty well, no drawings though. Not really like tablet style.

just got back from the store and the version of word that comes with it is awesome it lets you input text all different ways and has an option for drawing pictures interspersed with the text. I cant wait to take notes on this bad boi.

I bought the ipaq rx3115 off of niceelectronics.com for $210
