Nice, worked for me, thanks

Also, I purchased my Note outside of the promotion time frame and still got the credit :)

I remember a lot of people were mocking HTC when they gave HTC One owners $25 Google Play credit, saying that HTC must be really desperate to do something like that. Apparently now even the mighty Samsung does the same thing, for twice as much credit! :D

I assume because the S4 would have sold well without the incentive. I dont know how the Note 3 is selling but I am sure no where near the numbers of the S4.
Also, this is retroactive. They've sold, what, like 50 million S4s? That would be a REALLY expensive promotion even if just limited to the US.

I'm surprised that they even made it $50 rather than a more reasonable $25.
This is going to be one expensive promotion for Samsung.
At $50/pop with 5 million Galaxy Note phones, that's already $250 million spent on "marketing".

The Note 3 is an expensive phone. If there were (and I reckon there are) binning processes for AMOLED screens, eMLC, NANDs, and not to mention the SOCs/modems, it wouldn't surprise me that the best crops go to the Note 3 first before any other Samsung phones/tablets.
