Well ive been having some really annoying computer problems, and rather then pay $60 / hour at some tech shop i've been trying to figure it out myself
.
Anyone care to help?
Problem is as follows.

Hi everyone,
Just a few simple (i hope) questions. I have been getting fatal errors when playing warcraft 3 TFT, and while others have been getting them as well, I REALLY don't think it is because of the game itself.
The errors I get are either a Fatal error saying that the game caused a fault and giving the program, then the war3x.exe as the problem. However I also get errors from time to time saying that one of the music tracks, be it Humanx1.mp3 or Nightelfx.mp3 caused the error. (the exact track seems irrelevant)
Now the reason that I highly doubt that this is a war3x specific problem is that I also get an error if I play counterstrike for a while. It some times says that my client.dll is different from the servers, and if I restart the engine (the game) it works fine. Then when the map changes sometimes it says one of my models (which shouldn?t have changed) has changed and I have to restart my computer to get it to let me play.
Also if I use my computer enough sometimes I get a blue screen that says that there is an error in my gf4.dll or something like that, it never stays long enough for me to read it all, just blue screen then computer restarts.
Ok enough about what is wrong what am I doing about it?
Well I have a theory that it is one of a few things, either:
1. Graphics Card error/damage. I figured this might be it because the models are being altered over time and I get that blue screen that says there is a problem with my graphics card dll. (sorry forgot the exact name, I'll edit it in if I get another blue screen.)
1a. I swapped out my card for a similar one and that didn't help the problem... so this doesn't seem to be it.
2. Heat. Obvious one here, if there is too much heat going threw the computer it seems plausible that that might be causing the errors. Generally they occur after 30 or more minutes of playing, but earlier today I got one right after I started my computer up, and it was sitting all night. I also recently bought a desktop fan thing and opened the base up and placed it in there. The inside is a lot cooler now, but I still get errors with the same regularity.
2a. I placed a desktop fan next to the open case and there is now a noticable difference in temp but this didn't help either.
3. Ram Errors. Another obvious possibility, if I have a bad stick of RAM then when it is accessed I could see it causing an error. I have seen people post that memtest thing a number of times and I intend to use that to test my RAM in the hopes that this is that simple.
3a. Tested my ram using Memtest (http://www.memtest86.com/) and it didn't find any errors.
4. Power needs: Someone in another thread suggested this and I guess it is a possibility. Maybe I need a larger power source.
5. Motherboard error/damage: Another possibility.
6. Something I didn't think of.
Ok so before I get no posts let me say that while I'm not really a tech savvy guy, I'm also not stupid and willing to work threw this if anyone tries to help me.
I really don't know where to start, or if I even can test for all of these, but hopefully someone can help me find a place to start.
If you can help at all please let me know what information I need to provide and what I can do to test some of these things.
Ok so i've tried switching GFX cards and that didn't help.
I get these errors.

I was trying to defrag it earlier and then started a file search and bam blue screen (not windows one?) and it said that i might have faulty hardware, and to check any new additions to my computer. : any idea how to take a picture of it? or maybe pause the restart so i can read it all?
Now I really am not sure what is wrong and what I could do to test if that is indeed the problem, right now I think it is either an OS issue (meaning reinstall), a Motherboard (or a part of it) issue, or a Hard Drive issue. If it turns out that I can't test these or for whatever reason I have tested it all the best I can then i will have no choice but to pay the money and take it in.... still I'd rather not do that.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
