Not sure what to do

Well i went and got a nice dremel from home depot for $70. I was really anxious to do some modding on my case so i played with it for a little marked a spot on the windows and put a hole for a fan. Well i put the hole right smak dab in the center of my Chieftec Dragon case so its directly over my memory. Not exactly where its supposed to be. Im worried if i have that fan as exhaust and my cpu fan as intake the CPU fan isn't going to get enough air.

So this gives me an excuse to buy something else. IN a situation like this would it be good if i got some ducts stuck it over my CPU and made the window fan intake thereby taking outside air making it go through the duct and on the CPU. Is that a viable fix or should i just try to find a new side window.

Any other ideas... im all ears.

If your heatsink also has an 80mm fan, you could try a duct kit from SVC.com et al. and pump cool outside air right into the CPU (fan at both ends of the duct works best). That will not only cool the CPU to the max but also lower system temp as the air that leaves the CPU will also be cooler. And the blue or silver foil duct looks kewl thru the window...

If you do choose to do that make sure you put a filter on that fan. Without it the CPU heatsink will fill up with dust rather fast.

Also when i made the hole it came out a bit big so there are a couple of holes outside the fan. like trying to fit a square with a circle because i cut it a bit too big. Should i get a 92mm fan and 92mm fan grill for the CPU the fan in the window and get a 92mm fan duct.

Also which way should the fan be facing in the duct. Same as CPU right..... well after it gets blasted on the CPU how does it get out.

Lastly should i attach it to my rear fan or my window fan. Im guessing my rear as attaching it to my window fan would make it so i cant open the door.

Somebody help lol i screwed up this time. (First time for everything eh 😉 ) Also plz recommend a good kit.
