To book a bunch of Genius appointments, and only show up to 1?

Very much so. The Genius Bar blocks out that time so that they can help you, and they will wait a little while, but not forever before moving onto the next name.

However, I think that the online application will not let the same email address/name combo sign up for more than 1 appointment.
