Here's my setup

3 computers on a home lan(linksys 10/100 5 portHub) using Win98SE ICS
Main computer has 2 NIC's (one for modem, one for the hub connection)
The other 2 computers have one NIC connected into the HUB.
All computers have halflife/opposing force installed with the latest patches.(only one cd key)
The game works fine on my home Lan. however there is one thing that i cant figure out.
All three computers can join internet server games but the list of available servers on the computers is different. I would like to have my 3 computers join into the same online server. but without the server list being the same(even after cliking on the updatebutton)this is hard to accomplish.

thanks,

mike

There is something you can do about this.

On your half life shortcut, right click on it and type in (minus the quote) "-dev -toconsole".

When HL starts up, it will skip the intro movie and just have a screen with the HL logo and some text. Type in "connect x.x.x.x" where the x is the ip address of the server you are trying to connect to. Hit return and it should work swell.

Alternatively, you can get a piece of software called the Half Life Fast Connector that more or less accomplishes the same thing, but it uses a GUI. You can get that here.

I would use gamespy. But do not try to update the lists of more then one system at a time.
