I'd like to suggest a blog that explains why the forum is down when it is, it would be handy when the forum is down and we have no information on why / how long until it is likely to be back up.
 
The downtime is on the hosting side, and they don't even tell the mods what's going on. The chances of letting the rest of us know anything is non-existent.

I doubt Anand could afford the team of technical writers it would take to document the down time of this place. The flip side of that coin is that even with the problems, I still get far more than I pay for.
