Not sure I get the reference. Legacy systems are old and complicated, I get that, but troll?

Where I used to work there were some legacy guys who were old, cranky, and always grumpy. I imagine that it could be similar in other workplaces as well and thats where the troll moniker could come from.

The guys in charge of legacy systems like mainframes are old, bitter folks who want to extract a toll for you to just talk to them.
