Okay what do you guys think, am I being too mellow dramitic?

I ordered a new Camcorder on Sunday night online with a mail order company that I had never used before. When I checked they had 19 Nr. in stock.

Okay, the price was £763.74 when I ordered it. Along with the Camcorder I ordered a new Battery, a Tape, microphone and a case. Everything going fine, everything in stock. I paid an additional fee so that the goods would arrive on Tuesday (today).

On Monday night I checked their website to see how my order was progressing and everything had shipped and my credit card had been charged with the full amount.

While I was browsing in my account details I noticed there was another order. This freaked me out a little as I had only placed one order! This second order was for £892.68 and for another exact same Camcorder. Anyway, a bit shocked by this I cancelled the second order as it had not been picked for shipping etc.

Well today, everything arrived as ordered except for the Camcorder! When I investigated today what had gone wrong it turns out that the company had advertised the Camcorder for the wrong price. So they took it upon themselves to cancel my order for the Camcorder at the advertised price and reordered without my permission for the one that was quite a bit more, £128.94 more to be exact. The reason I didn't get the Camcorder was because I had cancelled the second order.

Dunno where I stand on this, but I am so annoyed. :frown:

Yeah I did that. They have said that although the transaction has gone through it is still awaiting confirmation. They also said they cannot do anything and I will just have to wait untill the credit comes through from the company.

It just annoys me that I cannot order the goods from elsewhere until I know whats happend to the pending credit!! :(

That's not cool. Send the whole order back and do a chargeback. They don't deserve any of your money.
