So I finally fixed the high temps as noted in this thread. http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?p=37437690#post37437690
My Pentium G630 now hovers around 37 idle and 50-55c under full gaming load, a vast improvement from the 95c it was running at. But, it seems like it's still throttling. At first I thought it was just the cool and quiet thing noted in the sticky, but this is under full load. In CPU Z it keeps switching between 2.7ghz to 1.6ghz every few seconds under load. I also noticed there seems to be variance in the voltage, going from a low of 0.976v to a high of about 1.128 volts, again, according to CPU Z. Is this normal? Or is something else at play?
