Be gentle with me, this is my first attempt at a deal.

I was cruising through a local Wal-Mart today and saw a few clearance items which seemed interesting.

1] Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer @ 79.24
2] Sound Blaster Live! MP3+ @ 79.24
Not sure either was 5.1

3] Iomega Zip 100 USB @ 85.47
4] Dazzle Digital Video Editor SE @69.74 (with fire wire)
5] Dazzle Photo & Video Editor @ 64.74 (external analog box)
6] MAG 800V 19" @ 249.99
7] MAG 720V 17" @ 149.99
8] MAG 15" @ 100.99

I find it hard to believe Wal-Mart B&M will have deals on anything but I thought I might as well post them and see if it would help anyone.

The Iomega 100 USB Zip drive is definately NOT hot. I just bought one from my local Microcenter for 39.99 on sale, exactly same model.

Ummmmmmmm -

I think what Guang meant was:

'Thanks for taking the time to post but there is a better deal on one of those items.'

I think Guang also meant to say that the Microcenter deal is great for the people who are near one of the 17 Microcenter stores. Those who aren't have the option of getting it at one of the thousands of Wal-Mart's nationwide.:)

I agree Wally World is a bit out of touch most of the time. I have run in to great deals there sometimes but they are not always there.

Did I mention the US Robotice PCI 56k X2 for a mere $100.99 down from $110.99? Guess I fergot...

$3 for svcd cables is a pretty good deal. If you goto like best buy or something they'll run u $10-15, and thats because theres about an 80%+ markup on these cables (I use to work there). I could buy $100 worth of cables, and after my discount, i'd pay like $10-15

funny, i always get my svid cables at the 99cent store. 6ft, good quality too. you'd be surprised what you could find there.

i can't believe bb's prices on the same cable...

dethman - thatnks for the suggestion. I have a new s-vid switch on the way and need to grab a few cables to set it up.

On Wally World, I still gloat about my Belkin parallel port cable. I was a full $20 cheaper there than at at BBuy for the same darn cable. More than made up for the 5 miles I had to drive in gasoline.
