I just installed the Creative optical digital I/O 2 card to go with my sound blaster live DE 5.1. I have my 5.1 speakers (Midiland 8200's using ADS-3000 decoder) connected to it using an optical cable.
Now, I am having trouble getting my decoder to recognize AC-3 (dolby digital 5.1) sound when playing DVD's.

I tried my sound cards AC-3 demo & that recognized it fine, but when playing DVD's it does'nt recognize it.

I'm using ATI's DVD player & am able to select enable SPDIF out.

Any help?

Thanks.
