the area around the hard drive cage is pretty crowded because of the ide cables. im not sure if another hard drive will fit. it'll mean i need to add another ide cable. the ide cable MAY fit but it's questionable.

would replacing all the cables with rounded cables help?

Uh.... It's not rocket science. :p

Do you have a spare 3.5" Bay?

Do you have a free HD connector?

Do you have a spare power connector?

If you can answer "Yes" to all those questions, then the answer is that another HD will fit.

i was talking about the space the ide cables take up. it's pretty tight around the area of the hard drive cage. i know i can add another hard drive

Ah.

Well, rounded cables will definately help. Or you can just get a bigger case.. I've never had problems with not being able to fit another cable. Sometimes systems look like a rat's nest, but you can always fit another cable. :p

3.5" TO 5.25" Converters are quite cheap nowadays....over here in UK you can pick up 2 for less than £2 and they include a replacement faceplate if you are putting in a floppy drive or something and all the screws....A good backup plan if you order another hard drive and then struggle to make it fit.
