Hi All
I just got me P3-700 Mhz SL45Y and Infineon 256 ram

And a Gorb and a Abit Slot convertor and put into my machine right now I am running 868 Mhz but when I run 933 my machine seems to choke..

I believe it to be my Abit BH6 Rev 1.0? Or is just the CPU?

The rest of my specs are

DPT 3334UW with 64Mb of Ram doing Raid 0
Two Scsi Barricuda Drives
Geforce DDR Video
3com network Card
SB Live
Adapter 2940UW
DDS-3
Yamaha CD Write
Mitsumi CD Rom.

I guess what I am trying to figure out if I should shell out for a new board or its the CPU itself..

I have tried 1.65, 1.75, and 1.85. And I flashed my motherboard to SS.

Are there any special settings to try?

I had an Abit Slocket III and I couldn't get past 864Mhz. I asked a similar question not to long ago and someone told that the abit slockets weren't the stabalist so I went out and got an IWill slocket II and I hit 933 with no problem. I hit 864 with 1.8 V and I can now hit 933 with the same voltage. You might want to try and get a different socket.

Thats something that concerns me.. I don't believe that my multiplier is 1/4 I don't know for sure. I didn't think there was a 1/4 multiplier..

I would bet it's the Abit SloketCard. My PIII 600 wouldn't do 800 with the Abit Sloket(even @1.85V), got the Asus SmartCard and it runs @800 @1.65V, it will even run @840 @1.70V. It will get into Winblows @900 @1.85V but is unstable.

Seems alot of peolpe have had probs with the Abit Sloket.
