that part was interesting, he basically ran for it and won
it just shows how apethetic people are to vote in a 17 year old (he was 17 when he was elected as a Wisconsin DNC member) , not to offend you youngsters, but talk about no experience. then i guess the DNC doesn't need experience, i dunno

Yep, she's being pimped.

Clearly. An extremely bright, well educated young woman who no doubt volunteered to campaign for her mother is in your view being pimped because she couldn't possibly have a say in what she does. I love it when you Obama supporters show your true colors, that you are as slimy as everyone you claim you are better than.

Obama's wife and kids aren't being pimped by the way, because to suggest a black man pimped his family would rain down holy hell on whoever said it. Help me Matt & Trey, you're my only hope.

Where are these 'claims' you speak of? I certainly never made any.

Boy you all need to go back to school yourselves. She is not being "pimped". She is "ho-ing" herself out. ;)

Ageism? Your damn right when we're talking about a 21yr old KID. 98% of people that age are idiots that think they're all grown up. I would know..I used to be one.

I happened to catch this on the morning news as they interviewed the fellow. He was elected to represent the young democrats, and was picked by that group and hence became a super delegate because the elected Rep of the young democrats gets to be a super delegate. He had a long period of prior democratic activism and thats why he was picked among his peer group of also politically active young democrats.

They went on to interview the fellow, he was young, articulate, and he recounted the dinner. His comment was that Chelsie Clinton was very pleasant, they talked about a variety of subjects, he stressed that Chelsie DID NOTHING TO HIGH PRESSURE HIM, and he remains uncommitted.

I mean Gee wiz, the various political candidates courting super delegates and voters in the pre convention process. What a total shock, who could a possibly a thunk it. And here I thought the political candidates stayed at home waiting for the voters and delegates to come to them in a sort of mirror mirror on the wall, who is fairest of them all process.

Can't really complain about this and simultaneously complain that young people don't get involved with politics.

Nothing wrong with Ms. Clinton applying some pressure and charm to further her political views - it's not like just because she's a female dining with a male that she offered her body to him.

really? they just had him on TV. He said Chelsa did a hard sale on him. he even got a call by Bill. Though he said Bill didnt do the hard sale and the conversation was rather plesant.

teh way he was talking he already had his mind made up to vote for Hillary. When asked that shouldnt they vote the way the voters say? the other guy (they had 2 superdelegates) say well they vote how they think would be better.

makes you wonder if its worth voting.

Well, I appreciate your candor. I was referring to the various rants from certain posters about Hillary supporters, implying some nonexistent superiorty attaches to them b/c they are for obama.

It should be illegal to try to influence these super delegates. Dont they have any rules of conduct?

No.

Today's NYT piece on Clinton's fledgling campaign says that many of her Super Delegates are "wavering" and may well decide to back Obama should he be the elected delegate vote winner.
