Not impressed with the Viewsonic P95f+...

I just got it hooked up for like an hour and I am not impressed so far!!

The text looks faded and fuzzy at 1024x768 at 90 hz refresh.

The geometry is all wrong!!

I have like a bloated middle that falls down as it reaches either side of the screen on the bottom.

I did recall and it still sucks!!

It looks a bit tilted and I can't adjust it!!



I just picked it up on Sat and might return this crap!!

You should set the refresh rate higher if you can, I have mine 1024x768 at 140hz, and 800x600 at 170hz. I also have a tilt feature and other stuff, but I don't know how many features they removed from the original P95F in the plus model to lower the price.

I just can't seem to get the sides to match the middle....all out of whack!!

The geometry is way way off!!

Yes I have pin cushion/pin balance, trapezoid/parallell, tilt.

Just can't get anything to get level or even on the sides and middle.

I have my settings at 1152x864 at 100 hz refresh.

Anything higher the text becomes fuzzy and small. I hate the look to it as well. I have bad eyes by the way.

I don't want to go higher than that resolution.


Problem is the geometry b/c the sides of my monitor on the left and right is outward at the top then it sinks inward as it goes to the middle then goes outward as it goes to the bottom of the screen.

Imagine a coke can that you squeeze which skrinks in the middle but the top and bottom does not shrink. I can't seem to get this right

Ok seems like 85 hz is the limit for my kryo2 card. I am getting a radeon 9500pro soon anyway so no worries there.

But the damn geometry is screwed up kind of.

I try but can't seem to get anything to be straight. Boxes from windows on the screen looks a little crooked and slanted a little.

Not sure if its me or the damn hardware is screwed

Maybe you got a bad monitor or some thing. My P95f+ looks perfect at 1600 x 1200 at 85hz.

no auto set and factory recall looks like crap to me!!

I can't nothing straight!!

damn I paid a good amount for this and I am upset!!

if I return it what the hell would I get then? damn monitors are pain the the butts!!

I got a P95f+ about 3 weeks ago and was quite disappointed at first. It had these zones where text would appear blurry and the colors seemed washed out. After running it for about 2 days all the blurriness was gone and after adjusting the brightness (it came set at max) and purity I am very happy with it.
Running at 1152x865 x 90 on a Radeon 8500.

I am returning it to be replaced by Feb 18th

I am not impressed so far. Something just don't look right.

I have till Feb. 18th to return it and get a replacement.

The middle being fuzzy is a problem with all P95f+ it seems, mine was the exact same way as where others Ive heard of.

Anyway, the geometry looks all wrong. Crooked near the bottom.

Its going back and hopefully I will get a better one.
