I was just at Dell and saw this new price in both SB and Home & Office:

Who cares. This isn't the not hot deals forum and it always been $1050 but there has been a number of times you could have acquired it for $750 including the first week it was released. If you snoozed you lost out until the next time but until then quit crying.

Dell likes to do the 25% off thing often. But, yeah, looks like it's going to cost little more unless they increase the special discounts.

Man, don't be such a jerk, ESPECIALLY when you're wrong. It's always been $999 MSRP on all Dell sites, ocassionally with a 20% or 25% discount to $799 or $750. Now they raised the base price by $50 to $1049.95 MSRP. Get your facts straight.

Glad to see you found my post worthy of a response after 2 1/2 year and only 94 post but I have a Dell catalog with the $1049 price from a number of months ago when I purchased mine so this jerk must assume you're the one who's been sleeping for the last few years and doesn't have the facts straight.
