Been out for about 6 hours. Guess long time depends on your definition.

No real earth shattering changes.

I didn't notice any change in performance, nor did I notice any cosmetic changes....But I am using it still the same =)

...and I would rather use Explorer 1.0 as opposed to that new Netscape 6.0 or whatever...used to always use Netscape back in the 3-4.0 stages...Now, however, it seems like a big, slow, CPU hog that doesn't want to perform....Or is that the AOL scripts they integrated to spy on people's internet activity? =)

opera is quick, but not as tolerant of sloppy sites as ie or netscape.

I'm with Terp on this one. I was a die-hard Netscape fan through version 3 and 4. Then IE 5.5 beta came along, and Netscape 6 sucked so hard, now all I use Netscape for is e-mail. Nothing beats that separate but integrated mail notification taskbar program they include with Communicator 4.x. And I don't have to deal with all the e-mail viruses that hit Outlook users. If Outlook Express had a separate mail notification program like "Netscape Mail Notification," I would've switched over nevertheless. Netscape 6 seems to have gotten rid of this mail notifier though.
Glad to see IE 5.5 finally out of beta.
