I read through the rules to make sure a post of this nature is okay and it seems that it is so here's my story.

I purchased the Sandisk Sansa c250 2gig mp3 player through Buy.com that supposedly came with a 14day return policy and a 90 day warranty. When I began having issues with the mp3 player after a month I contacted sandisk and was told they do not warrant their recertified products and that they were aware of the misinformation on Buys product pages and that they have informed them about the issue. I went back to Buy and they said they only offer the 14 day return policy and that they would see what they could do. This was on monday and I have yet to hear back from them.

Right now the e250 and e260 recertified models are in the top selling category.

Just put this out as an FYI.

Not true. Call buy.com (don't email them, that gets you nowhere)

I bought one that just acted a little goofy at times and got it replaced no problem.

I actually did speak to them on the phone Monday and then again on Wednesday. Monday I was told I would get an e-mail within 24hrs, which is why I called back on Wednesday and was told the same thing by a "supervisor".

SanDisk does not refurbish players, Buy.com will be the only warranty you get.
