I just bought another Dell laptop for 2800.00. I was wondering if you guys know of an insurance company that will cover it from loss or damage. Dell has complete care but that will not cover if the laptop is stolen. I'm really worried about it being stolen at school.

Thanks,

Any insurance people out there?

I would think that such theft falls under homeowner/renter insurance.

If you have a policy, look at it.

I am not an insurance adjuster, but I play one at work. jeremy806 is right.
check your homeowners/renters policy there should be basic coverage on a Named Peril basis. This should cover theft. However, usually, you may obtain a rider on one of these types of policies (scheduled coverage), for some extra dough. You must have one of the basic polices to begin with tho.
