I dunno bout fedex, but in the case of UPS, if you call a number they would redirect it somewhere else

call them and tell them to leave it at the door regardless of whether it says signature is required or not....

I work for fedex so let me try to help. If its computer stuff and the driver can tell he prob wont leave it. If you leave a note and a safe place that would be your best bet. Also as suggested above if u have a neighbor that will be home leave a note to take it there. You can try leaving a note saying I know this is ( whatever it is ) and put leave it anyway ...sign and date it, but if it gets stolen off your porch its all you. Even ups wont leave computers stuff without a note or signed delivery notice.

if you'd like, i have a scan of a UPS form. it allows a driver to leave packages, regardless of signature

Well being home at a later date is an option... How can I find out where the warehouse is at? and how would I go about contacting them to let them know I Will pick it up?? I guess I could have him leave it in my garage and then have them lock the garage door when they leave it... that ain't a bad idea.......
