Question Not getting any video output on my z840

Once again I decided to mess around with one of my HP workstations and of course now have a problem. It has 2 E6-2697 v3 and I had installed an RX5700XT thinking I might do some gaming just to see how it would do but decided not to bother so I pulled the RX5700XT and installed an old 5850. I booted it up and got no video output. The card is old so I pulled it and installed another, still no video. I grabbed a Quadro6000 from ebay and tried that, still nothing. I pulled the Quadro and put it into another z840 that had a k620 and it worked fine. I next tried the k620 in the first z840 and still nothing. I finally got a beep error code which was a bad video card but the k620 was working fine in the other machine. I finally tried a k2000 which gave me nothing. I tired the second PCIe x16 slot and still nothing. Any ideas?
