Not getting any VHF channels

So I have an older 32" TV that doesn't have a built in tuner, so I picked up one of these: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...ingid=75948837

Along with an antenna from monoprice.com (site is down now):

hooked it all up but am only getting channels in the 15+ range, most of which come in nicely. All channels below 15 don't seem to work though. I live in a complex with fairly thick walls, but putting the antenna near windows with them open doesn't change my luck much.

Any tips?

Depends on your area. Most DTV channels are in the UHF band.

By golly you're right, I'm able to get channels 8/10 which are CBS/ABC here, and then NBC/FOX are 38/69, awesome!

Would also depend on your distance from the towers and whether or not your window faces the towers as the antenna says it was a directional.
