hey i posted on the OS forum but i havn't been getting too many replies, so i'm hoping i'll get more here. I want to use Knoppix, but I don't know how to make the bootable cd for it. I have the ISO downloaded and I use Nero. If someone could help me out i'd appreciate it. Thanks.
 
When I burn ISOS under Windows, I just close the wizard, go to file then "Burn image" then select the iso, I'm assuming or hoping the linux version is similar, but if it is an ISO it should be bootable after burning it this way. At least thats how it has worked for me under Windows.
 
Nero 5: File -> Burn Image -> choose "All Files" from the filetype drop-down box, select the ISO file, Burn.
Nero 6: Recorder -> Burn Image -> choose "All Files" from the filetype drop-down box, select the ISO file, Burn.

The exact directions were posted in the OS forum.

This is either an OS or a software issue, not hardware. Patience.
