I realize you can utilize the courtesy flush, but there are times when you don't think it's necessary and it turns out that you were wrong. Similarly, you could clog it with excess toilet paper or foreign objects like... i dunno, oatmeal. Anything counts, but I'm more poop-minded. =P

I seem to pull it off about once every two weeks, although lately it's been more like every week. I'm going to attempt to add a poll to this sucker.

I had it a few times where it was piled out of the water, actually I don't recall if there was any water visible. Those time it flushed alright, mostly loose mushy stuff, not any logs. The only time I seem to clog it up is with toilet paper.

A solid log will do it if it's positioned just right, no tp needed. I can't believe I'm responding...

"It takes a REAL man to clog the toilet on the courtesy flush." - not sure who said that

Not always. Kohler makes a new toilet with a 3.25" flush valve and it's a very good toilet.

Kohler

The Kohler Cimmaron runs about $200 at Home Depot. Less from plumbing supply houses (for those with discounts).

lol
I've only clogged on the courtesy flush once. (Friday) I've never been more annoyed while in the bathroom. And long logs can usually do it regardless of positioning.
