I am seriously sick of this freezing bullshit here in mn, snow I can deal with but this freezing / sub-zero temps are for the penguins and I'm tired of being stuck inside most of the winter and then the 70+ dewpoints in the summer just drain me instantly ( health issues don't help ).

I think texas or arizona will work, maybe vegas I can find a nice compound community and I will bring my own rifles and ammo...:awe:

Now I just need a stack of cash and my car to thaw out.

Then when it's hot as balls in june/july in AZ or NV, you'll be complaining how you can barely be outside then, too.

Don't you have a garage or something? Or get an auto car starter to heat your car up for a while before to go ripping the handle off.

If you pee from the 2nd floor, will it freeze by the time it hits the ground?

Pft. Nah, I'll take the heat any day.

I grew up in Minneapolis and lived in Ridgecrest.

Overall I think its a little easier for the body to deal with extreme heat. You just need to drink water, even when you aren't thirsty.
Of course there's simple physic to deal with.
You can always add a layer, but you can only take so many layers off.
And its easier to generate artificial heat than artificial cold. Burning stuff is easy. Pocket warmers are cheap.
Air conditioning takes loads of electricity and needs to be mounted safely. It also needs a place to drain.

Of course, cars function better in the heat.
They also look better without snow scraping up the bodies and salt destroying the belly.

If you find yourself locked out of your house, or lost in the woods, or walking a highway, you will be much better off in the heat than the cold.

One thing I learned around the country is most people are stupid. They think if they are uncomfortable they are cold.
Cold is when your body starts shutting down and the vast majority of people have never even come close to that. They're just soft and weak and assume if their skin is a little cool they are about to die. Which is pathetic.

Anyways.

Everyone from the Twin Cities loves to complain about the weather but when it comes time to move, nobody leaves because the quality of life and cost of living are way better than anywhere else in that price range.

I was a little slow, I didn't realize til I was 18 that you didn't have to live where you grew up. I left Minneapolis and moved to Flagstaff just in time for winter. :D
