Hello All,

I am hoping that someone may be able to help me out. I have just installed XP on my box. It has an SiS Accelerated Graphics Port built-in video port, but the Device Manager shows that the device is unavailable because there are not enough resources available for it. It gives an error code 12.

The OS states that I ought to try to remove other devices, but I have nothing else installed (other than the standard devices that the motherboard's CD installed).

How do I add more devices? Is there a way to increase the number of available device slots?

I've tried to install the latest device drivers from SiS (the agp117e driver), but WinXP wouldn't do it...saying that the driver cannot be installed (the older one is better).

However, the video on the machine seems slow---when I drag a window, it is fairly slow in redraws...I presume that it's because the AGP driver is not active.

The machine is a miniatx (I believe) that has an athlon 2200XP+ processor. The machine ran Win98 just fine...I hope that there is an easy fix.

Thanks.
