Not enough memory? WTF? *edit* think it's OK now.

Just installed a good 'ol VA-503+ mobo, with 64MB SDRAM. Reformatted with /s of course, got an error 'not enough memory to load system files'.
Did a regular format, went fine. Then finished up with 'sys c:' to get the system files. Worked fine. Then while installing Win98SE, at the copying files stage, it pretty much stalled, could hear HD action, but no progress (like not enough memory).

What am I overlooking here?

update: I went thru the bios (had defaults loaded), disabled the shadows, set RAM timing back to 'normal', reformatted (no errors this time), and now windoze is loading normally. I dunno what did it, but I hope it stays OK :)
