Not Enough Memory to Record with MS Sound Recorder??

I can record once and play the recorded audio, but when I try copying and pasting audio I get an error saying "Not enough memory available to complete this operation."

I get the same error when I try hitting record again.

Any suggestions?

My specs are in my signature, I'm running XP 32bit.

Weird, with 3GB you have tons of memory. Try googling the problem?

Hi, Not really sure about your problem, but Older Win Recorder only recorded for 30 seconds, so may be the reason for your problems. There are tricks to get it to go longer, but they are not worth the trouble. Use another Recorder. You should then be able to use Recorder as an editor. Luck, Jim

That's what I would suggest. MS Sound Recorder is great for very short clips. That's about it.
