Not enough "ide power cables"

I have this antec neohe 500 powersupply (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103940) that only gives me two of the "ide power cables" sorry I dont know what they're called (link below, ide power cable on the far right)

However I have multiple IDE drives (ex. hardrives and dvd drives) that don't support the SATA power plugs. I was wondering how I would go about adding more of the IDE power cables. Would I have to purchase from the manufacturer?

Its called a 4 pin Molex. Pretty much the most standard plug that exists on computers. You can find molex splitters almost anywhere (comp usa probably). Everyone is trying to phase out molex in alot of cases, because it is a crappy header than tends to stick, but its not going anywhere anytime soon.

Anyways, Molex is the name, and splitters can be found most anywhere.

would a splitter work fine for lets say up to 5 drives? or would it be better to get a cable that plugs in from my power supply, and if so what is that cable called?

It should generally be ok. I can only forsee a problem if you are using all 6 drives at the exact same time, and even then i doubt itll be an issue with a 500W antec PS. My only question is how are you running 6 PATA devices? Most motherboards dont support more than 4.

When your splitting, just try to make the draw as even as possible across the wires. So like you have 2 molex now, try to extend each to 3 devices, instead of doing 4,2 or something.
