Hipro 305W? I've never even heard of that brand.

Also, 305W and 36A seems a bit weak. I'd recommend spending ~$120 I think it is for the Antec Sonata and the included Antec PSU. Good value, and drop your system into that. It's quiet too.

i think hipro was the brand in my first modern computer (back in '98), which died on me. i doubt that it has dual +12V rails. i think the corsair vx450 is a good value psu for ~$60-70 if you're looking to get one. as to whether your current one will work, why don't you try it out? you'll find out soon enough if it does or doesn't. but in the long run, you're probably better off getting a new psu.

this are the psu specs:

+5V=22A
+12VA=18A
+12VB=18A
-12V=1A
+3.3V=17A
+5VFP=2A

+5V and +3.3V shall not exceed 150W
+12VA and +12VB shall not exceed 264W

Max output power:305W

what could happen if i connect the gfx card to the pc?? is my psu going to die?????

You have 22 AMPs on the 12 V rail, which is very low, so I wouldn't try running this video card on this PSU, because it would surely cause troubles.

For almost a year not too long ago, I ran a X800XL and a X1800XL on a Bestec 250 Watt psu which fan perfect for about 8 months between the two cards. And it didnt even have as many amps as his does.

Its hard to say, it may work, it may not.

22A on the +12v is fine for a 7950GT as long as the quality of the PSU is fine and your PC isn't too loaded out and only using 1 HDD. For instance a high quality Fortron 350W with only 18A will run a 7950GT just fine. That said, the brand of PSU you have isn't very good but it's passable until you find s better one but I would monitor your 12v rail frequently for and +/- fluctuations.

He could try running that 7950 on this PSU, but there is always the risk of blowing up, and taking some hardware with it in the process. That P4 is also power hungry so I would say don't risk it, and just buy a better PSU.
