Not detecting any networks

On my laptop the networking utility won't find any networks. I know I am within range becasue other computers in the house can pick up networks from the same area. I have tried reinstalling drivers and making sure the card is securly in the MOBO. I have also ran hardware checks and it is telling me that its working fine.

Thank you

Window Zero Configuration Service frequently fubars things. Use the wireless utility for your card to connect and disable the windows zero config service. Also uncheck "allow windows to manage wireless networks" in the wireless card network properties.

Make sure to reboot between any change of this.
