I have an Abit VP6 I just got with two P3 700s. This thing has been tested by the person I got it from at 930-something. However, I need to get some memory for it. I would like to get some PC150 that'll do 2-2-2 and I would like to get it from some place that sells more than memory (I went to the Mushkin site and they sell the stuff but memory only); as I need some hard drives and a KVM switch, maybe a burner if the price is right. So, does anyone have any recommendations as to what brand of RAM to get? I would like to stick as much in it as I can for a reasonable price (a stick of 256 is decent for around $100). Umm....oh yeah, are there any e-tailers that could help me. I remember reading the Corsair specs and they didn't say 2-2-2, but sometimes they just try to throw you off eheh. Any suggestions? Rambling ends here->.

Crucial Cl2 will often do 150, buy it from the factory or Newegg in 256 modules. You'll save money using 512 modules, although Crucial only offers them in Cl3. Kingston has them in Cl2, from Newegg, your board should be able to use them. Probably won't hit 150, though. More than 1gig of RAM is generally a waste of money...

it was only so long ago when people were saying anything over 512 was a waste =p

and even a little before that, anything over 256 was overkill... however, 1 GB of SDRAM is a waste I'd say... DDR has been used for the last couple years... the transition has been made... time to make the change =)
