So I just finished building a computer for a friend, and everything works (including the network) at MY house, but when I bring it over to his house, none of the network connections work.
The wired ethernet "connects," but the Internet doesn't work. And the wireless card can't connect to the access point. The Internet works fine on other computers, though.
There are no WEP or security passwords, etc.. I even resetted the router and modem a few times.
The weird thing is.. all of those worked perfectly fine at my house, with my D-link router. He uses a Netgear router.
Firewalls have been disabled, but that still doesn't fix the problem. >__>
