This happens to me often. It's an ugly continuous circle. What I do to stop it and get my sleeping pattern back on track is wake up early or dont sleep at all and go through the day without a nap or anything. Around 9pm-10pm you should be ready to pass out. You'll sleep a good 8-10 hours and be refreshed in the morning.

If my relief comes in to the office and sees me sleeping in the morning, I will get in trouble.
