All right...in my origional plans, i was going to buy an asus a8n-sli. The problem with that was that I'm getting a x1800xt, that apparently wont work in SLI (prove me wrong?) Now, I'm either going to ditch SLi and go for the asus a8n-e or go crossfire with the abit at8 MB. Is the abit a worthwhile choice or should i stick with the a8n-e because I don't NEED SLi right now... and i don't want to pay over $150 for a high end ATI xpress 3200 chipset. ANY and ALL board suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated. Thankz

ATI cards should* work in Nvidia chipset boards. Of course if you want to run dual cards then you have to go chipset specific but single cards should work either way.

*YMMV. I've seen instances where ATI cards won't work on a particular Nvidia chipset board, but would on other Nvidia chipset boards. I had an ATI (built by) Radeon 9600 Pro that wouldn't work on one Nforce2 chipset board but was fine on other boards with the same chipset, and the board it wouldn't work with was fine with other cards.
