I just finished Starcraft 2, and enjoyed it very much.

As everyone else has, I picked up too many damned games via STEAM sales.

Please tell me what to play next, I honestly can't decide.

Alien Swarm
Assassin's Creed (I played the sequel last month)
Bionic Commando
Bioshock 2
Borderlands
Call of Juarez
Cyostasis
DarkStar One
Dead Space
Devil May Cry 4
Dragon Age: Origins
Just Cause 2
Mass Effect (Started it last year, but found it to be a bit clunky)
Mass Effect 2
Metro 2033
Stalker CoP
Stalker Clear Sky
Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl

Help meh!!

Alien Swarm is a quick playthrough, especially with some friends. I vote that.

None of the games on your list seem particularly appealing though, to me at least.

I've played through Mass Effect 1/2 and Borderlands, tried a few others on the list, none of them were above average.

Just play anything. You really need someone to help you make such a trivial decision?

^

Seriously. Are you that brain dead or that bored? If you were looking for a recommended specific game type, then that's legitimate question.

Play Dead Space late at night for a bit of a thriller (though the controls suck, IMO).

Play STALKER CoP for a decent FPS with a rather large (and decently immersive) world.

Wow.
A whole list of games I havent played.
And I didnt like SC2.

I am so freaking old.
If Deus Ex 3 sucks I will have nothing to look forward to.

I recommend some of those cheap casual games on Steam. They are great distractions and in that time you will maybe find something serious you like.

Didn't you throw down on the steam sales?

I seem to be the only person in the world who used to love them and now hates them. But if they work for you, have fun.
I am finished but I am also an angry little man. So dont do what I do. Try and have more good times than I ever will.

Boarderlands and Just Cause 2 you can sink a lot of time in to. May want to finish off some of the shorter one's first?

You can't go wrong with the mass effect games. Some parts of ME1 can be a bit trying on your patience, but then ME2 corrects them and makes everything so much better. Amazing Sci Fi story. Those games are begging for a film adaptation. Someone get J.J. Abrams to do it since he doesn't ruin sci fi.

Mass Effect.

Though, when I tried the PC version for a replay, the controls were all fucked up and there was some weird stutter so I just stopped. Stupid ports.

The weird stuttering was most likely cause by Vstync. Turn that garbage off and everything is good in the world.

Alright, I finally just finished Starcraft 2 this afternoon. Campaign was annoying as hell. Just grinding away towards the end, so I could get the portrait unlocked. I fucking HATE unlocking. Thats some stupid console shit which never should have made it to computer games. Ever.

So, my recommendation to the OP is he SERIOUSLY consider some casual games. No pressure. No expectations. Just fun. And saves money.

Definitely Mass Effect.

It took me three or four tries playing Mass Effect for it to stick (I'd keep starting and either get bored or get lost in the Citadel). But after I got over that hump, I've come to like Mass Effect over nearly every other game. It's an all around excellent game.

Mass Effect 1 has some clunky shooting mechanics, but they work well for the most part once you get used to it. Mass Effect 2, if you decide to advance to that eventually, is a better shooter mechanically, but they strip some of the RPG elements out. Either way, they're both excellent.

Out of the games I played in the list you posted, Call of Juarez was the most fun for me. I also really enjoyed Mass Effect, and Stalker, but both had an element of very repetitive gameplay that kind of got on my nerves.

You will absolutely like playing Bioshock 2. Try that one out! It was awesome. Now they have the Bioshock Infinite. you might wanna try that one too. But here's the thing, Alien Swarm is a big game too for me. So my choice either from the three.
