My neice got an mp3 player for christmas, a sandisk sansa. Doesnt have much in the way of cds to rip and toss on so we are looking for a downloading service.

She's mostly going to download disney and teenybopper music, so no good music selection is required.

Moneys a bit tight so what's the best option for getting some legal music to put on her mp3 player?

Does it gold plate the MP3s?

it certainly can't gold plate this music. Next on the list for EAC - Hillary Duff's metamorphosis. Poor poor eac, poor poor lame, poor poor mp3 player, poor poor uncle.

i'm in the exact same situation except its my ~10 year old cousin, same player even. Of course it falls on me to find a legal service even though i didn't buy the player and even told my grandma not to get my cousin one at all.

  • I believe AllofMP3.com is legal, and cheap at lower quality.

allofmp3 is higher quality

allofmp3 FTW!
Yeah, teach your neice to steal from bands and songwriters, it's a cool life lesson!

If the Sansa supports subscription services, Napster at $15/month allows downloading unlimited tracks legally (not Russian Mob "legally" ) though you don't own the tracks.
