So, I'm in a pickle. My marriage is on the down slope. This is absolutely killing me emotionally right now. I have been the primary (as in only) bread winner for the last few years and in a little while she'll be a resident. At that point she'll be coming by some income. I'm going to get screwed with my pants on if we get a divorce. She's going to hire a killer lawyer and just rake me through the coals. I'm not sure I'll be able to afford a lawyer.
So my question right now is, does anyone know whether you can take a loan out from a back to pay for legal services? I'm sure the loan interest will be huge and I'll be paying this off for ages, but I just don't see anyway of keeping from having to pay her alimony till she starts making real doctor money.
And I guess my last question is, can anyone spare $10,000?
