Isn't it peculiar that any time a black person on this forum has an opinion about race contrary to yours, they are race pimps or racists? You seem to throw the racist label around more-so than any black person I know. It makes it even more distasteful that you don't even know the meaning of the word. Yet, you are on here, in every topic about the Black community spewing your bigoted bullshit.

So, why has this black person become yours and the right's new hero?
Does he sound particularly bright or have great academic approbation in this topic? No. He's a 22 year old National GuardsMan.
Does he make a compelling argument, No? His argument goes something like this. I got stopped by a white cop ergo white cops aren't all racist.
Does he make a compelling point, No? His point is white Cops aren't all racist. Who said they ALL are? All is everyone and has a very specific meaning. To believe ALL Cops are racist is simply trite. And I would be suspect of everyone who says that (Black or White). But, you should read FBI Director's Comey's speech on Race and Policing and get a better understanding of one view of the issue we (the Black community) is facing. Or is that argument too complex for you?
Does his experience speak for every Black person's encounter or experience with police? I'll let you answer that.. Here is a hint, does one white person's experience ever speak for every white person? I know my experiences with Cops. One Cop did me an overwhelming kindness that I had to send him candy for. But yet I've had guns pointed in my face on 2 separate occasions and pulled over for no apparent reason on more. Does that one experience where a Cop did me an overwhelming kindness mean all Cops are good? Well you can answer that. In fact I believe he pulled me over initially because I was black.

So, why is a hero? I'll let you answer.
This guy is a useful tool for the right. Just like all the GOP's heroes. People like Sarah Palin, Joe the Plumber, Chuck Norris, etc.. People who really don't have a clue about what they are talking about but the GOP venerates.

So, yes, the video was a waste of time.

Assuming you have spent considerable time in the United States.. Just out of curiosity, If you had to wager a guess as what percentage of adult (lets say 18yrs+) white Americans in 2015 are racists (according to any definition you choose).

btw.. this question is not only for emperus... anyone else, please feel free to respond

As for myself, If I had to guess...I'll say 1-3%

1-3% Wow. Way off.

I would venture for those in theirs 60's or greater, 50% or more hold racist views. That's what they knew growing up. Our country has evolved so rapidly on these issues but it's harder for people to. And it tapers off to maybe 30% for younger generations.

Now I'm not talking about people that will call you a Ni*ger to your face, I'm talking about those people who when in the comfort of those close friends and family or people they believe to be like minded, will say something racist.

Like I said, I've been in corporate America for a while, and am still shocked what people say when they get comfortable around me.

Just sweep it under the rug. Racism is a thing of the past! If you talk about child molestation then you must be a child molester!

How stupidly black and white. Either racism is everywhere or it's nowhere. Maybe, just maybe, your tiny little brain can wrap around the idea that racism exists, but not at the scale that race pimps love to claim it does. It's a hard concept for you, I know. But try to think about it little man.

Holy shit, no wonder you sound like a nutjob. Because you are. You're claiming that upwards of 40% of this country is racist? You're a fucking loon.

And you are a White man telling a Black person about his experiences with Racism? Don't you see how stupid that sounds? Instead of asking questions and trying to understand you're going to supplant your opinion on an issue that has never effected you with mine? You can't even understand the level of privilege in that.

Although I think your numbers are over inflated and I tend to lean toward 1-3% crowd but I wanted to agree with this sentence above. It's true. I work in the 'corporate world' myself and I am surprised at times by the racist remarks or innuendos.

Yeah it exists and maybe in some area's more than others but nowhere near the inflated 60% you claim. Of course this is all conjecture and neither of us can prove it so we'll have to agree to disagree.

Here is an article from 2012.

AP poll: U.S. majority have prejudice against blacks

No one can know, but as a black man who is seen by most White people as an "acceptable" Black person I can speak of my experiences. And 1-3% is just way way way too low.

I'm going to tell you, I'm sometimes shocked but also never surprised when I do hear them. The Clinton comments when Hillary was running against Barak. Shocking, not surprising. The Biden comments about Obama being "clean, articulate, and bright". Not surprising. Just remnants of a time a lot of people grew up in.

"Race pimps." So you're accusing someone of having a scapegoat all while creating a scapegoat of your own.

Who are these race pimps and have any pimped race in this thread?
