Not all Gigabyte UD5H mainboards are created equal !??

Gigabyte appears to have pulled an incognito revision to the Z77 UD5H mobo in hopes of curing some of the "real" version 1.0 instability and wonkeyness issues. Does anyone know the UPC or SKU differences between the two boards? The old board is marked with blue tipped capacitors and a very noticeable gap between DIMM slot 2 and 3. Whereby the new version 1.0 has purple caps and no space. I think the quiet upgrade was launched in mid to late August. From online sleuthing, the retail package appears identical for both, so how to tell what you're buying without busting open the shrink wrap and box?

I have one of these boards, I asked the question back in May.

They ran out of blue caps so they changed the manufacturer and the new manufacturer has different color caps. Same specs.

Haven't seen a motherboard box that was shrinkwrapped in years. Never have a problem opening a single mb box and looking at the board and the box's contents.

I have the "blue capacitor" version UD5H board. There's no difference as far as bios support for either board. There's been no observable "instability and wonkeyness issues" with my board.
The F14 version bios provides much improved memory compatibility, however. Particularly for the Samsung 1.35 volt 4 GB sticks, which now work fine with that board.
