Not able to recover from S3 suspend state

I have a Tbird 900 with KT7 mobo,SB live card and Asus Geforce2 Gts card. I have a problem with suspend. My computer goes into suspend mode but never is able to recover from it while using the S3 state. I have double checked both the jumper and the Bios to make sure that I have selected S3 (STR). It works fine in S1 mode. Can anybody tell me the why this is happening and what I should do to correct it ??
