not able to install office xp

hi,
I am not able to install office xp on laptop since it there are pre release versions which must be uninstalled whereas i do not have the source cd for that version, i tried manually deleting flolder and running registry mechanic to remove those old registry values but it still says the same,help is needed asap,thanks,i appreciate the good work by techies,keep it up.
