I use an N52 as well, I play most of the war games and basically use the same settings for all, with a few minor exceptions of course. This tends to keep the learning curve at a minimum. When I set up a new game, I go into options, select a function [ like reload ], when its ready for my key input, I press my upper left key on my N52 [ my usual reload key ], I don't care what K/B key it represents for now, and do the same for all standard functions. When I'm done doing that, I go back and see which functions still need a key assigned, and use any unused key left on my N52. If the game needs more keys, then I will assign an unused K/B key, rather than use the N52 secondary key assignment function. Hope this helps.
