Nostromo N52 loses focus

First off my N52 works flawlessly during gameplay..however, if I drop out of a game or just pause it for a short while, my N52 will not function at all. The cure is to reboot my sys..WTF over. Anybody have a cure..it's been doing it for awhile now, heh, just decided to address the problem at this time.

Plug it into another USB slot.

I gave that a shot..seems to be working. Thanks for the suggestion. Guess my ancient USB setup on this P4PE/L has gremlins..or maybe there is some kind of timeout setting somewhere. I will keep an eye on this of course.

You the man..my N52 is still staying in focus since I followed your advice to swap USB ports. It is great to have helpful, knowledgeable folks to ask advice from. Good on you.

Glad it worked. Unplugging and replugging USB devices causes the drivers to be reinstalled and it sounds like that what was needed.
