What is it with all the "documentaries" on History Channel regarding this guy?

Is anyone really gullible enough to believe these stupid Nostradamus predictions? I remember watching one of these shows back in the early 90s that was predicting the end of the world in 1994... now they're saying he predicted 9/11 and the tsunamis in the Pacific. Really? I don't recall any of those predictions in the show I saw. Maybe he was just really really vague and you could apply his writings to any number of actual events throughout history.

There were 3 hours of TV devoted to this guy last night... why do we keep making these stupid documentaries about this man?

FTR-I didn't watch any of them. I was just channel surfing and saw 2 hour long Nostradamus programs on History Channel.

I've read much of Nostrodamus's predictions and all I got out of it was a prediction that there are a lot of suckers for generalizations out there.
