I don't remember if it was a DOS game or if it could handle Windows directly.
It was played on a large green field, and I believe it had a sunlit sky. It was all in 3D wireframe. The field was strewn with pyramid obstacles here and there. Various geometric objects would try to run into your tank, damaging or destroying it. Enemy tanks would spawn now and then, and try to shoot at you.
It also supported a multiplayer option; I remember playing the game over the modem with someone else a few times.
Does this come to mind for anyone? I found Vector Tanks, and that's not it...
