I was checking some directories, and under the "Program Files" directory I found a folder named "NOS".

I don't think I've ever seen this folder on a System before.
There's nothing in it, but I have no idea where it came from.

Anyone know what this could be?

Thanks.

This is a fairly clean install (<30 days), and I haven't uninstalled anything yet . . . .

Its most likely from NOS Microsystems Webinstall/getPlus product. A few companies (Adbobe?) license it for installs of products.

I have installed Adobe.

Maybe that's it, I just don't remember having ever seen it before.

I'll have to check my other Systems to see if they have it, I don't think they do.

My system does, think it was Adobe Reader. Looks like they leave the folder by mistake after they self uninstall after the real product is bootstrapped.

It's not on my Laptop, but I have the newest version of Adobe on this Computer, so hopefully that's what it is.
