Norton2K and WinXP - was there ever a fix?

Is there a patch or something to get Norton 2K2 and WinXP to work properly? it works fine in Win2K...

What does not work? I have Norton Systems 2002 on Win XP Home....... everything seems to be working fine.

what's the prob? it won't install? or just casue BSODs?

Well it technically installs fine, but that's useless, an antivirus with outdated virus definitions etc is essentially useless. I can't update liveupdate, it stays at the old version. It worked fine in Win2K, I don't get why it's messing up now in WinXP. :|

According to norton, 2k2 should work just fine with XP. I believe it was 2k1 that was messed up, and yes, they patched it.

OK I got it all working EXCEPT for one update. ARgh.. it can't replace some files or something...

It's working ok now, just a minor problem that will probably work itself out..
